The Commodore Amiga 500 Story is currently a feature film documentary in production and tells the story of the development and release of the Amiga 500 computer. 

The film goes into detail on what happened at both Commodore and the Amiga design team when the Amiga 1000 was released in 1985 and why it became needed to cost reduce the existing A1000 technology and create a cheaper version that Commodore new better how to sell and the Amiga 500 was born!

This film project was initially funded via Kickstarter and backers receive updates on production progress as well as behind the scenes clips and other elements to make them feel part of the production, which also includes having their name in the end credits of the completed film.

Due to popular demand we have opened that option up here so that anyone who pre-orders either physically or digitally officially becomes part of the project, receives the same updates and gets their name in the end credits of the completed film.
